Rainbow Justice
Rainbow Justice: Supporting the enforcement of CJEU jurisprudence for LGBTI equality

The specific objectives of the project are:

To enhance LGBTIQ legal programs and strategic litigation for LGBTIQ rights in relation to the
-
Charter of Fundamental Rights;

To monitor and encourage the implementation of rights for LGBTIQ people and their families
under the Charter of Fundamental Rights, with specific focus on the implementation of the
CJEU cases Coman and Others v Romania (C‐673/16) and V.М.А. v Stolichna obshtina, rayon
‘Pancharevo’ (C‐490/20);

To build a network of stakeholders to identify and flag strategic cases that can advance
LGBTIQ rights in relation to the Charter of Fundamental Rights, and secure the implementation
of rights;

To raise awareness among LGBTIQ people about their rights under the Charter of
Fundamental Rights and relevant decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
