Justice EU
The Justice EU project is funded by the European Commission Law, Equality and Citizenship Program (2014-2020). It aims to monitor the implementation of Directive 2004/38 / EC of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe from 29 April 2004 on the right of Union citizens and their family members to move and reside freely within the territory of the memeber states and the ECJ ruling in the case of Adrian Coman (Coman; Case No. C-673/16). The Court ruled that the Member States of the Union are bound to respect marriages between persons of the same sex in other countries in order to protect their fundamental rights to freedom of movement and to privacy and family life as EU citizens.
