National Legal Program Law in Action training

As part of the Legal Program Law in Action, on the 14th and the 15th of December 2019, Deystvie’s staff carried out training for coordinators. The workshop happened in the Rainbow Hub. The purpose of these events is to develop skills for recognizing discrimination, reporting cases of discrimination or homophobic and transphobic hate crimes.

WHY DO WE DO THIS?

Our goal is to create a network of people from the community, expert lawyers or interested citizens from around the country, who, thanks to the developed skills of recognizing, reporting and working on cases in the Legal Program, can create engagement and reveal examples of inequality for LGBTI people, as well as look for their solution. We plan on carrying out 200-300 consultations on LGBTI cases within the next 30 months, as well as having 30-70 filed cases and reports.
