On the 17th of October 2019, the Equality League, in collaboration with partners from the private sector, hosted the pre-electoral debate ‘Equality in Sofia: Politics for Vulnerable Groups’. This was the first forum of its kind in Bulgaria giving representatives of some vulnerable groups – the Roma, the LGBTI community and the deaf – the opportunity to ask local political candidates questions and find out their ideas on how to resolve issues.
